Our favourite cafe in Marrakech uses walnut wood lidded storage pots as a sugar dish to accompany teas and coffees. They also make cute spice pots and handy containers for storing precious little objects.
Each one is hand turned on a traditional lathe. To deepen the colour and enhance the grain of the walnut wood use a linseed oil or beeswax and apply to the surface with a soft cloth.
